Based in Wollongong and Sydney, Shipwreck Studio is built around dedicated coder and CTO Rick Moore and a large staff of specialists in graphic, print and web design, SEO, social media, mobile app development and server and hosting architecture.

Our first clients from 2006 are still with us.
Established on 1 September 2006, we delivered our first commercial websites for local businesses like South Coast Tattoo and Southside Tattoo. Twenty years and hundreds of clients later, we still do work for those same first clients. That is the testament to our commitment to customer service that we are proudest of.
Collaborating with many clients in person in our CBD office or at yours, we also work daily in Zoom meetings. We can bring your project to fruition no matter where on the planet you are.

Based in Wollongong with clients across Sydney and the rest of the country, Shipwreck Studio is built around coder and CTO Rick Moore and a team of specialists in design, print, web, SEO, social, mobile apps and server engineering. We meet in person in the CBD office, at yours, or on Zoom every day of the week.
The thing we are proudest of is not the size of the portfolio. It is that the businesses we built for in our first year are still with us.
Meet the studio- 2006
Opened on 1 September. First commercial sites for South Coast Tattoo and Southside Tattoo, both still clients.
- 2010s
Hundreds of WordPress builds, ten of our own plugins, and the first big custom platforms for government and private clients.
- 2021
Corporate partner of the Illawarra Hawks. The Client Rewards Program starts flying clients to meetings.
- 2023
A new server fleet built for WordPress in Sydney data centres, and the move away from cPanel for security.
- 2026
NitroSites, our own hosting platform (the Blade), and this site rebuilt on it. Twenty years in.

Where is Shipwreck Studio?
Our head office is at Unit 1704, 10 Regent St, Wollongong NSW 2500, two minutes from the heliport. We also work with clients across Sydney and meet on Zoom with everyone else.
How big is the team?
Larger than a boutique, smaller than a corporate: specialists in graphic and print design, web design, coding, SEO, social media, mobile apps and server engineering, with department heads for each.
Who is Rick Moore?
Founder, coder and CTO. Rick started the studio on 1 September 2006, still writes code, runs the hosting infrastructure, and is the person most clients deal with first.
