When you choose Shipwreck Studio managed hosting, our team runs your infrastructure at competitive prices. We own and operate everything from bare metal servers (physical machines) in Australian data centres through VPS servers to managed Amazon cloud services.

You are billed once a year and all your hosting needs sit in one place. Included in that bill is all setup of mail MX records, DNS entries and redirections: any of the technical parts that keep business owners up at night.

Hosting questions

Where are the servers?

In Australian data centres, SY3 and SY4 in Sydney for most clients. We can place you in the capital city data centre closest to your main audience.

Do you host email?

No. Modern email delivery needs the scale of a major provider, so we set up and recommend Google Workspace for every client and handle the MX and DNS records for you.

What happens if my site goes down?

Every site is monitored around the clock and alerts reach our engineers directly. Offsite backups mean a disaster recovery is a restore, not a rebuild.

Can you host a site you did not build?

Yes. After a security and performance audit we migrate it to our servers for free as part of a care plan.

Is hosting sold on its own?

Premium managed hosting is now bundled into the Small Business Site Care Plan from $2,200 a year, which includes up to two hours a month of changes from our team. Bare metal server management is quoted per box.
